The dog should be hiding in fear of not knowing what is going on.She will also be crying from the pain.The dog may show signs of aggression towards people even if this is not her normal nature.She will be sweating and shivering.If the dog has a primary owner she may look to her for confert.

They will be really uncomfortable they will keep laying down and getting up they may follow you around whinning watch for panting signs of stress. The dog may not want you to leave them or the room they are in watch for how fast the breathing is if it is very rapid then thats a sign of labor as well.

My dog refused to eat anything the day her pups were due. As well, I took her internal temperature and watched for it to drop to 37.2 c. She was ancy and scratched at her dog bed.
