It is safe for my 14-year old Chihuahua to have puppies?

There are spay and neuter clinics in most cities. Call around to some local vets and find out what your options are. The dog should have been spayed years ago and if you can't do that, then DO not let her out of your sight when she's in season.

You should check with your vet to see if she is pregnant. She is a little old to have babies and might need to be monitored by the vet.

Although dogs are very resillient I'd be quite worried about your 14-year old having puppies because of her age. Dogs usually die around this age so even if she were able to actually survive the pregnancy and the birthing, she would probably be too weak to take care of the puppies.
