Jaundice, diarrhea, loss of appetite, seizures, refuses to drink, loss of balance. Loose stools, sleepiness, or hyperactivity. It could cause liver damage or death. If you see any of these contact you vet right away. My dog had no problems on Rimadyl and it improved the quality of her life.

Rimadyl is just an NSAID like Ibuprofen but only for animals. Side effects include diarrhea, GI upset, stomach ulcers, and prolonged bleeding. There is no reason to take this if you have access to ibuprofen.

Most drastic "side effect" can be death! sometimes known as Carprofen, the drug sometimes causes toxic reactions that can include anemia, kidney damage, gastro-enteritis, liver failure, less life threatning but still serious are the symtoms of depression and general loss of form in dogs being treated with the drug
