If the medication has been administered via the eyes, the patient may experience blurred vision or stinging. With nasal administration, rebound congestion is a possible side effect.

Also known by it's trade name of Neo-Synephrine, which is a decongestant, sold as oral medication, eye drops, or nasal spray. The primary side effect is Hypertension, or high blood pressure. It can also cause irritability, restlessness, and inability to sleep (insomnia). It also can cause overstimulation of the Central Nervous System.
