Loritab is highly addictive. Minor side effects include dizziness, nausea, drowsiness and constipation. Serious side effects should be reported immediately to your doctor, from whom you should have received a list of ALL side effects. They include, but are not limited to, anxiety, excessive drowsiness, slow heart rate and confusion.

The biggest side effect is constipation. This should be avoided by using a stool softener and laxative, such as Senokot-S. Also, side effects may include a feeling of euphoria. Lortab can become addictive due to this side effect; therefore, it is important to take only as it is prescribed to you.
