One of the best scary places is Salem, MA. Also, Loretta Lynn's house has a nice haunting, and the Gettysburg battlefield is pretty spooky at night. Lots of cities have great ghosts tours, and these let you in on lots of the scary happenings and the ideas of ghosts of the area.

Well by scary do you mean ghost like ? because the white house can be scary but try the old haunted house of ferry in pensylvania
