Leagally no school can turn you down if you dont belive thier faith. They belive you must be baptised to go to heaven.

Usually you need to sign a statement of faith agreeing to the basic Baptist tenets, have a valid teaching certificate in the state, and possibly have a recommendation from your home church.

This depends on where in the US you are seeking employment and what type of "Baptist" school you have applied to for teaching. I am assuming you are a Baptist. That would be the first and foremost qualification; current membership in a Baptist Church that shares the doctrines of the school, and a teaching degree from a qualified Baptist college.

A Baptist teacher is required to be a "born again" believer. Another requirement would be membership and active participation in a Baptist church or a church of like faith. Finally, Baptist schools require teachers to sign a statement agreeing with that school's Articles of Faith.

You need to believe in the Bible as God's Word. You will be provided literature that follows the Baptist doctrines. Stick to the literature and Bible, study and pray.
