What are the normal habits of Pomeranian dogs?

They tend to be very energetic and can be standoffish with people they do not know. Smaller breeds such as this many times have a complex about being small in a big worldThey try to overcompensate by being yappy and trying to be the boss in the house. Training is a must.

Most Pomeranians can be rather hyperactive. They like to play and can be high strung. They often get separation anxiety when left alone and are protective of their owners.

The Pomeranian is a dog of acute sensibilities; this is also true of its sense of touch. Corporal punishment may be felt by a Pom much more sharply than needed or intended,especially by a young dog. small children or unthinking on inexperienced adults can both physically and mentally, by striking a Pomeranian. (Don't hit any pets, but especially not a Pom! )

Easily taught, usually bark quite a bit. They can get along great with other dogs and even cats. They are very friendly and bond well to their families.
