What are the different types of sharks?

There are many, many different types of sharks. Some of the more common types are hammerhead sharks, great white sharks, and nurse sharks. Nurse sharks are found in shallow, fresh water, so humans accidentally come into contact with them more often than the other types. There are also tiger sharks, bull sharks, lemon sharks, whale sharks, and angel sharks.

There are over 360 different species of sharks. A few of the major types are Angel, Basking, Blacktip Reef, Blue, Bull, Great White, Hammerhead, Nurse, Tiger, Whale, Zebra, and Spiny Dogfish.
