Generally an aquarium must be at least 3 times as long and 2 times as wide as the shark at their full growth. On average a tiger shark is between 10 to 18 feet long therefore the aquarium would need to be between 30 and 60 feet long and 20 to 40 feet wide.

Tiger sharks are not available for sale. However the bamboo cat shark is. It runs about 50-60 dollars and grows to be 4 ft long. It will need at minimum a 180 gallon tank but bigger is better. The tank at sea world in orlando florida that had tiger sharks is i believe over 60 thousand gallons.
