You can have short layers if your hair is short, or you can have long hair with short layers on top and long layers on the bottom. You can also have long layers all over.

Layered hair is easier to blow dry, straighten and looks very nice curled. As long as you get the different pieces separately curled, it can have a volume effect. Straitening also looks nice, but make sure to put your hair half up half down if you want to show off your style.

There are many styles for layered hair. You can wear it down and styled. You can also have it up in many different ways such as a sweep or a pony tail. There are also people who where part of the layers down and the other part up and styled.

That depends on hair length. For short hair, you can go for shag cut. Or start below the ear-lobe and add layers depending on how much of fringe you want.

One of the best looks for layered hair is bone straight, as well as flipped at the ends or romantic curls.

Layered hair can be incorporated into any type of style. Layering your hair gives it more volume and creates dimension where there would not normally be any present. Feathered bangs and face-framing layers are common right now, and appropriate if you're going for a trendy style. Curly hair is often layered around the back to keep it from looking flat.
