Asphalt shingles are the most commonly used roofing material today. They come in a variety of styles and colors to suit your home. Shingles have standard warranties of either 25, 30, or 45 years. Basically, the longer the warranty, the thicker and more durable the shingle.

Well I can help you out with this question easily. My stepfather builds houses and repairs them for a living!There are many differnt grades.The higher the grade the more sterdier it is. and it will cost you more.you have many differnt colors and types likes,asphalt. most people use that for some reason not my favorite choice.steel,aluminum,cooper metal,natural slate.rubber.
