To keep our children safe the law requires all children to wear a seatbelt. To ride without a carseat or booster seat the child should be 8yrs old or 4'9".

Requirements vary from state to state.All children should be 4 ft 9 in tall before they ride in the front. This is to insure they are not harmed in case of an accident. Most states use this standard for their car seat laws. All states have their car seat/booster seat requirements posted on their local and state government sites.
