Flaxseed oil contains Omega-3 fats (good fat) and has been shown to reduce many health issues. The benefits are extensive including fighting high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Its also been reported to have an amazing effect on reducing inflammation common in arthritis and gout and joint pain in general.

Flax seed oil has also been known to lower high blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels. It has also been shown to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. It also helps in the healing of sprains and bruises.
