The Quiverfull movement believes that couples should have as many children as possible in order to serve God. They believe that a wife should stay home and girls should only want to be wives and mothers when they grow up.

They encourage Christian families to have many children. They don't believe in using birth control, because they believe that children are gifts from God.

From what I understand the Quiverfull movement is focused upon the relationship between husband and wife and their responability to have and raise as many children as God will give them to raise to HIS glory

This movement came to the forefront among conservative evangelical Christians with the 1985 publication of Mary Pride's book, "The Way Home." Quiverfull is a belief that children are blessings from God and using birth control (including the rhythm method or abstinence) is sinful for married couples.
