The four main branches of Judaism are Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, and Reconstructionist. The Orthodox adhere strictly to the prescriptions of the Torah. Conservatives try to blend the spirit of the Torah with modern living. Reform are more liberal than the preceding branches and the Reconstructionists believe that Judaism is an evolving philosophy with no personal God necessary.

Reform, Conservative, Orthodox and Reconstuctionist are among the sects of one of the oldest extant religions, that which is found in the Old Testament. Although the piousness of its members are typically not in doubt, each sect has its own degree of religiosity, with Reconstructionist being the most modern, and, it is considered, the most progressive.

Judaism has four main branches. They are (going from most liberal to most conservative), Reconstructionist, Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox. Each of those branches consists of different denominations, and their politics can vary even country to country. For example, Canadian Conservative denominations tend to be more conservative than American Conservative denominations.

This is a trick question. Typcally there are historically 3 primarey branches of Judaism. The Sephardic (southern Europe and the middle east) and the Ashenzic (northern Europe) and the Mizrachi(the African). However in modern Judaism some would say the 4 branches are Reconstruction, Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox.
