The Branches of geology are Physical geology and Historical geology. Physical geology deals with mineral composition, rock types, etc. Historical deals in the way the Earth developed throughout history by studying rocks. The systems are Isolated, Open, and closed. It is important to note that depending on who you ask, there could be many ways to delineate geology branches.

The 3 branches of geology are Earth and Planetary and Phsyical . The three systems of geology are Phanerozoic, Carboninferous & Ordovician. More information can be found online at a variety of websites.
