What are sprained ankle symptoms?

I turned my ankle pretty badly.

Extreme tenderness and swelling along with inablity to support normal body weight are signs of a sprained ankle. Any bluish or black discoloration warrants a Dr. visit.

Usually symptoms of a sprained ankle are swelling, and a lot of pain. Really painful when trying to walk on it.

Sprained ankle symptoms include swelling, pain, and difficulty with walking and weight bearing. You may be unable to move the joint. It is often difficult for a patient to differentiate between sprain symptoms and fracture symtpoms, so an x-ray may be needed.
