What are some ways to stop water dripping off my roof?

Water will go down one way or another, so you need to re-direct it. You can install gutters and a downspout to control the water. Another, more aesthetically pleasing method of dealing with falling water is the Japanese rain chain. You can put up rain chains by yourself and they sound peaceful as they direct the flow of water.

If you have excessive water dripping then you should install gutters. If gutters are too much for the amount of water you have try installing a small strip along the roof edge. Install it at an angle and all the water should collect and drip at the low end.

Obviously the simplest way to stop water dripping off your roof is to install gutters. If the water is dripping off the gutters then I would assume that the gutters are clogged with debris such pine cones, bird nests etc. Climb up to the roof and clean out the gutters by hand.

the roof can be changed to stop dripping.if it a woodden roof, then both the ceiling and the underpart should be painted, or otherwise th ecan get rotted. the edge of the roof must have gutters or fine edges so that the water gets down by the sides.good ceiling pastes can be used.

Rain gutters install along the edge of the roof will carry water away in down spouts. A metal lip over door ways will divert the water from a small area, but then it will drip at the end of the lip. A flat roof may actually have a slope with a drain built in to carry away the water.

If you have gutters, they are either too small, clogged, or not covering all the area where water will run off. Consider either getting new gutters or unclogging existing ones.

An easy way to stop water from dripping off your roof is to "install" a rain water collector. Jut put an empty, cleaned and dried out ice cream bucket and it will prevent water drippage and will save you money, because you can use the rainwater to do anything!
