Why is there water dripping in my refrigerator from the light fixture?

This should not happen. It could be that ice buildup from the freezer is meting or has already melted. If it is only a little, just monitor the situation. If it is a lot, clean out your fridge and begin your search for a new one it is not a good sign.

Most refrigerator lights are heat producing bulbs, and most bulbs are right below the freezer. If you have a lot of frost built up in your freezer and your door is opened often, frost from the freezer bottom can be melted by the heat of the light bulb. Your room air has moisture in it that can drip.

When the refrigerator is working then the excess frozen mist deposits on the light fixture and when you open your refrigerator the light glows and provides heat energy to its casing and then mist starts melting into water vapour droplets.

This could be because the light is right next to the ice in the product that the light is melting the ice.

This can be these very dangerous too if the water falls on the bulbs, possibility of bursting out the bulb. This types of dripping water to the bulbs should be immediately stopped. the freezer trays should be checked and get it repaired if necessary. This will help you to stop the leaakage.
