Men wore tricorner hats. The pants came to the knees and they then had long stockings from the knee down. Waist coats and vests were popular. The shirts were homespun or linen with a bloused sleeve. Walking sticks and canes were also very evident. Shoes were plain except for a large brass buckle.

Full skirts for women and breeches for men. Women wore a lot of corsets and guys had hats that were pointy.

If you are trying to replicate clothing from the 1700's, you need to remember that many of the clothing articles then were quite simple, and did not have a lot of frills. This is because technology had not advanced far back then. Women wore simple bonnetts and long dresses. Men wore buckled boots and cotton trousers.

A petticoat skirt made out of cotton and wool, and a velvet or linen bodice over a white embroidered long sleeve top also made of cotton.
