Have a variety of meats, so that all of your guests will have something to eat. Have hot dogs for children, hamburgers, steak and some chicken. Most everybody should find something they like. You might even add a few veggie burgers for those that do not eat meat.

Try to pick a dish that will feed large amounts of people, a tritip is your best option. You cook it just like you would a steak and it is large enough to feed several people. If cooked right you will have meat that is rare done as well as well done. Sure to please every one in the crowd.

Boil or pre-cook chicken and ribs, then just heat up on the grill and add sauce. Also keep a couple of pans to the side on your grill, one for dogs, and one for hamburgers. Place meat in pans as finished to keep warm for serving.

Use multiple grills. Cook the food which takes the longest first, then the shortest so everyone can eat at once. Have all of your supplies ready ahead of time. Buy bags of potato chips to use as sides. Find out if anyone is a vegetarian.
