I think that there are some toys that have stood the test of time and are still selling today. One example of this is play doh. Play Doh was launched into the toy market in the mid-1950s and is still going stong including new merchandise added each year as well.
Most of the classic toys I think of are the Fisher Price favorites like the colorful telephone, the push toy with the popping balls and of course, the See&Say.
