The dye used for tie dyeing is difficult to get off quickly. Try first rubbing your hands off with vinegar and an old rag (careful about dyeing the rag! ). Then fill your palm with about a spoonful of sugar, a spoonful of vegetable oil, and scrub them together. This should take off the stained dead skin.

The best way to remove dye from your skin is to wash with soap, not bleach and a soft scrubbing brush.

Dye boxes state that you should wear gloves. You can use Liquid Lava Soap. It has little granules in it to take off the dye, paint or printers ink. You can find this in the Home Improvement or hardware stores in your area. If you can't find ask someone in the store, usually the paint section.
