Hot sauce can go a long way with shrimp. Also try sprinkling paprika, garlic, oregano and cheese for a killer topping. You can also put sea salt, black pepper and wine for great flavor.
Many seasonings go well with shrimp. For a Scandinavian flavor, use dill -- either fresh or dried. For a Cajun or creole touch, add some dried red pepper and a bit of cumin. Lemon always goes well with shrimp.
Old bay seasoning is a classic for shrimp (or any seasoning for that matter). One may also season shrimp with a little butter and cayenne pepper melted over the top.
