Be concerned when the person you're dating seems overly secretive. For example, they never want you to call them, saying they have an odd work or sleep schedule; they always want to meet you somewhere instead of having you come to where they live; or they seldom speak about or introduce you to friends or family members.

The first sign is just a gut feeling that something is going wrong. You will also notice that your partner seems to fall through on their promises more often, and may not be as affectionate as they used to be.

Some red flags when dating would be that the person would be willing to make out with you without first getting to know you.. And if they compare you to their ex then that would be another red flag. If they expect too much out of you than more that you can give would raise a red flag too.
