In warmer climates, hutches outdoors are good for mother rabbits with litters. You can have half the rabbitry indoors, which can allow you easy access to move rabbits from cages to hutches. Colder climates normally require you to keep rabbits indoors much of the year, making sure their water dishes do not ice over.

When starting a rabbitry you will need to know several things. First you will have to secide what breed of rabbbit you will have. How many Cages you will need for how many rabits you will have. Start with a small number and if you are comftorable with that you can than try and expand your rabbitry.

Keep in mind the rabbits are used to the outside harsh climate. However, mini rex seem to need more shelter. You will need to keep in under 80 degrees or it will be too hot. If it is any hotter than than make sure to put frozen water bottles indside.

You should know first of all that are you ready to take care of the rabbits, because if you can't my advice is to not to get them.
