What are some positive ways to motivate employees who appear to be "un-motivatible"?
Some of the employees at my store have been neglecting their duties with no concern for what I say about it. I want to motivate them without threatening termination.
People generally respond better to positive encouragement than threats. Come up with a "bonus" system maybe extra time off or a longer lunch hour for the employee of the week.
The best method of motivation is always commendation. Look for positive things that your employees are doing that you can commend them for. Do this repeatedly.
