You can work at a research facility. You need to have some post graduate education. You can work as an engineer and the government is always looking for someone with that background. You can work in a lab at the hospital. The science institute of technology may be able to offer on insight on different career opportunities.

Basically this is basically the conversion of data into code. Some of this could be useful in the computer programing or coding field.

The career options for cryptography can be found in some companies but not a lot. The money in this career wouldn't make you rich but if you were lucky enough to find a job I say go for it.

There should be no trouble finding employment in cryptography at the moment, there is high-demand for secure encryption algorithms and their implementation, as well as testing existing ones.
