Well some of the lesser known inventions would include the speel and also the sewing machine. There was also the revolving pen at one point. Just check them on wikipedia.

Glass making, paper machines, agriculture improvement through equipment are some of the lesser known inventions from the Industrial Revolution. Gas Lighting also seems to be one people forget along with smaller machine tools.

One of the less well-known, but socially significant developments, of the industrial revolution was the invention - thanks to new methods of textile manufacture - of ready to wear clothing. Prior to this development, all clothing was handmade. This was a major improvement in the lives of ordinary people.
