What are some of the advantages of cloth diapers?

I don't know anybody that uses them.

Using cloth diapers means you would save yourself a lot of money over the generally two years that babies are in diapers. Babies who's parents use cloth diapers also tend to have far less diaper rashes. And using cloth diapers means there are way less diapers in land fills, which is great for the enviroment.

Many of the major advantages are environmental. Cloth diapers are reused many times, so they consume less in terms of raw materials, water, and energy for transportation and manufacturing, and landfill space for disposal. Cloth diapers also contain fewer chemicals than paper, and they are more breatheable than disposables, so they are better for babies' skin.

The only advantage I see with them is that you dont have diapers every time that you turn around. All you have to wash and reuse.

Well, one advantage is that they are reuseable, which will save you money. That is, if you can get over washing them and the mess involved.
