Expect to change a newborn about eight times per day. It's an estimate because it depends on your baby's weight and how much they are drinking per day.

For a brand newborn baby, one an hour. Their digestive tract isn't long, so they can eat, digest, and expel quickly. If you're going through diapers too quickly, or even slower than that, it's a sign of stomach and digestion problems.

A newborn baby will have a variable number of wet diapers per day. A baby that is breastfed should have 10 to 12 wet diapers per day. A baby that is formula fed will have 6 to 8 wet diapers per day.

Minimum about 10 a day usually. Ive heard up to 15 a few times but that is a rare instance. If your really concered id take the newborn to the doctor.
