What are some house plants that don't need sun?

I don't have room near my windows, but I want plants.

If the plant is green, it needs sun. The green in leaves comes from chlorophyll, a chemical that turns sunlight into energy. If you don't have available sunlight, you could try growing fungi, which thrive in dark, damp environments.
