Longer hairstyles give an illusion of a smaller head because it naturally makes your hair appear to be thinner. Shorter hairstyles tend to make hair look more full, thus making your head look even bigger.

Contrary to what you might believe, larger hair styles do not minimize the size of the head, go with something sleek and short to keep volume down.

Have a very short hair cut, or one that is extremely straight. If you curl or tease your hair it will give the impression that your head is larger.
