teenager

Question by  ccarboni (21)

Can you give me a list of suggestions for jobs for teenagers?

We live in a really small town and my son wants a job but there just aren't any.

My best suggestion would be your local newspaper run, local mom and pop stores, go door to door and ask people if they need services such as mowing the lawn, taking out the trash or cleaning windows. You can also recycle or put up a lemonade stand at a local gas station.

I grew up in a (very)small town. Typically you'll find busing, dish washing, or cleaning for a local restaurant (even a smaller one), maybe helping in the lumber yard of the hardware store, bagging groceries at the market, assisting the mechanic. Or, maybe something a little more personal, such as yard work/maintenance for neighbors or tutoring a child needing help.

easy small town jobs are baby or pet sitting, mowing the lawn, washing cars, windows, trimming hedges, dog walking. even small towns have to have small stores, work there.

cut lawns for people, babysit (there are a ton of kids who would love a male babysitter), tutor, help older people run errands, create his own business selling things he's made.
