What are some good stretching exercises for children?

I would like to have my children stretch before playing sports and was wanting ideas on some they could do.

Jumping Jacks and running in place for a few minutes will help loosen muscles. Also sitting on the floor with legs apart and reaching hands out low in front as far as they will go and holding position for 10 seconds.

Do yoga stretching like reaching for the sky, while pushing down to the ground with their feet. Have them put one hand on a wall and hold their foot behind them with the other hand for the ham-strings, which can be injured when running without stretching.

Have them stretch the same way you would stretch. Any stretch is going to help them, as long as they do it correctly. Show them how to do basic stretches.
