A great product on the market is Spanx. It is a product that you wear underneath your clothes to keep everything under control. Also, black really is a slimming color. Use black pants with a nice loose fitting top.

They shouldn't wear form fitting clothes and can find flattering undergarments such as "spanx" that will help them minimize features that they want to minimize. Lands End makes a very nice plus size minimizing bathing suit and Just My Size makes bras and body shaping slips to smooth everything out but keep the nice shape.
