What are some good kitchen color themes?

I personally want my kitchen to imply cheerful, clean, crisp, and fresh. A light butter yellow with white trim, eggshell with deep green accents, stainless steel and red accessories are all color schemes I've found in pleasant kitchens.

A classic theme is yellow and green. For example, you can paint the walls a soft shade of yellow and then find some green toile fabric to make curtains and a tablecloth. Also, there are many dishes that would go well with a green and yellow theme.

The kitchen is a room that you might be spending a great deal of time in. If that is the case you will want to have it yellow or some other color like that. If you have yellow paint you can have various shades of red for towels.
