Some ideas are working as a bagger at a grocery store, attendant at an amusement park, movie theatre or delivering newspapers.

Of course some of the best jobs for teenagers are fast food restaurants. This is mainly because there are not prerequisites like job training or prior experience needed. Also, most fast food restaurants will work around a teen's school and extra curricular activity schedule. Bus boys and waiters are also great positions for teens for the same reasons.

There are may jobs for teens, they can work on the systems they can do the data-entry work or they can take up some sales, marketing jobs which will yield them a good result.

Any of the fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Wendy's or Burger King are a very good first job expierence for a 16 year old. Other places would be Dairy Queen, 7-Elevens, supermarkets or drug stores. Any of these are very good experiences as it teaches responsibilty and the self esteem 16 year olds need in their lives.
