Don't get too carried away. It's the day before your Big Day so you're going to want to rest. Nice centerpieces would do you just fine. You can place small mirrors on the center of the table and place candles on top of the mirrors. You could also surround the mirrors in Rose petals for a romantic touch.

A simple centerpiece and a table with a few photos of the future Mr. and Mrs. is all that is needed, save the fancy decorations for the actual reception.

Save all the big ideas and complicated decorations for the actual dinner party. For the rehearsal, dont feel a need to go all out on decorations. Keep it simple, and you may want to consider using this opportunity to use some decorations that you will use for the actual dinner.

If having a semi-formal rehearsal dinner, I like mirrord plates with candles. Most importantly is not to duplicate the wedding deocrations - you don't want people comparing the two events.
