A lot of Fire Fighters get the number and the name of their fire station. The location of the tattoo is usually on one of the biceps. I know another Fire Fighter who had a Fire Truck on his back.

Some great firefighter tatoos are their sheilds, in memory of their caleauge, or maybe a dalmation with their badge number. Other firefighters get their sheilds with thir badge numbers on them or flames with their badge numbers &/or their city they work in.

Flames and water combative scene deep reds and royal blues. Buildings maybe a city fading away in the backgeound. Black and white may bring a better perspective to the tatt.

Most of the firefighter tattoos that I see incorporate the fire rescue badge into it. I've also seen a lot of helmets done. A lot of times I see the helmet with the two axes behind it.
