Where you want it. Tatto's are individualized. But in my opinion somewhere where it can be symmetrical with the area. The top of the foot is nice or the front of the ankle.

ankle or back of the shoulder. the back of the shoulder is recommended if you're bad with pain.

Any tattoo should be placed where it can be hidden under work clothing. I would either get a tramp stamp or a small one on a shoulder or somewhere on your upper chest that would be hidden by professional attire but visible with casual wear would be the best.

The best place for you to get any tattoo depends on whether you are more concerned with the pain or the look. If you're worried about pain the least painful would be on your upper arm. If you want it to look nice I think butterflies look best when they are on the upper back or back of the neck.

Tattoo placement should really be decided by you. Tattoos can be a lasting life long decision. Obviously, certain areas on your body will be more visible and painful then others.
