What are some good exercises to lose weight?

A variety of them would be great.

There is no way of getting around it. You have to do cardio. But make sure that you also have a weight/strength training element to your program as well. Cardio Exercises: Treadmill, Stairmaster, Bike, Elliptical, rowing. Weight Training: Bench press, Barbell curls, Dips, Pull ups, Dead-lifts, tri-cep press, squats.

I love swimming, I do it all the time. Running is good, but if you can't stand the impact walking is great too. The YMCA has Zumba which is a latinish dance type class that is a lot of fun for all ages. Weight lifting is good because it helps you burn more calories even when you're not exercising

Exercises that get your heart rate up (cardiovascular exercises) like running, cycling, and swimming are good for losing weight. Weightlifting to build replace fat with muscle also helps.

Almost any exercise is beneficial for losing weight. The most important thing is that it's something you enjoy, so that you can stick to it!

any cardio in conjunction with strength training with weights or yoga work is the best combination. stair machines and rowing machines burn the most amount of calories per hour. do these at least 3 times a week with strengthening muscle training and you will see results
