Cockroaches sometimes show up during the summer. There's still things like just normal houseflies. They also have wasps, bumble bees, and hornets. They also have mosquitoes so you may want to remember bug spray if you stay outside a lot or grill out.

Texas has common flying insects that are also found in other parts of the United States. Flies, Mayflies, butterflies and dragonflies. There are also the Mosquito and Crane flies that are mistaken for a Mosquito.
