Some types of food cause diarrhea and often bad food or water can be the reason too. Especially when you drink or eat at/from unhygienic places diarrhea can be caused. So be careful what and from where you eat and drink. Check, if the food is boiled, whether the water is also good. Sometimes even stress can trigger it off.

Diarrhea may be caused by bacteria found in raw meat, eggs, milk and shellfish. Viral strains cause diarrhea, this is normally found in contaminated food, drinking water and eating utensils. Some people suffer from chronic diarrhea, this may be due to a reaction to medication or intolerance to certain food.

Many things can cause diarrhea such as medications and food poisoning. A change in diet can cause it. A bacterial infection , stress and Crohn's disease may be to blame as well as a food allergy or being lactose intolerant. If the condition lasts see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
