Keep these basic tips in mind. Acrylic paint is great for big colorful paintings but it dries really fast so use what you put out because you can't save the paint once your done.
Be sure to use the proper type of brush for acrylic paints; they should be compatible with water colors also. Stiff oil paint brushes are not suitable.
