Oracle bones are basically one of the mediums the ancient Chinese used to write on. These are pieces of bone containing inscriptions of Chinese writing from the Shang Dynasty. Sometimes these bones had important information such as informational and historical descriptions. The bones were usually from turtles, oxen, and even human skulls.
