Get good prenatal care; vitamins and nutrients are essential and lack of can cause harm. Also, be tested for strep and other bacterias that can be passed to the baby. It's normal to be scared about labor, delivery, and, most of all, caring for the baby afterwards; get a good book: What to Expect when Expecting.

You should be worried about getting enough appropriate nutrition, taking the right amount of folic acid supplement or prenatal vitamin, and staying away from drugs and alcohol.

If you have regular prenatal doctor visits there is nothing you should worry about. If you have any fears discuss them with your doctor and he should be able to put your mind at ease. If anything is abnormal your doctor will discuss it with you and tell you the best way to proceed.

Spotting in the early stages of pregnancy is a very common scare, but it is usually caused by the embryo implanting in the lining of the uterus. Also check with your doctor to make sure though.
