What are my roofing options when shingles cannot be used?

When shingles cannot be used you may consider using rolled roofing, built-up roofing, or metal roofing. Rolled roofing and metal roofing are used more on houses with low sloped roofs. Built-up roofing is used more on commercial roofs but can bee used on low sloped residential roofs.

You may use Shakes which are wooden shingle type products. Or metal roofing which is inexpensive and tend to last longer than the structure itself
