Kokeshi dolls are both collectible and toys to be played with. In my opinion there is to much emphasis put on the collectibility of toys. Toys are made to be played with. These dolls can also be works of Japanese folk art and would be a collectible if you want.

Kokeshi Dolls are Japanese Dolls that are handmade from wood and you can play with them however you need to be careful with them since they are not meant for rough play. They can also be collected since they range from size and also design.

You can set up your Kokeshi dolls any way you like. I like to make forts and have them fight each other in imaginary battles in my head! I collect them like hockey cards!
